P3 and P4

Dear all,

I had few clarifications regarding Packet 3 and Packet 4 regarding Consular Processing. Can somebody correct me if i am wrong ?

My understanding is, NVC sends out Packet 3 to the attorney, who prepares some documents and mails it out to the address provided by NVC, ie to the chennai consulate.

Will chennai consulate inturn, send me the Packet 4 along with the interview date to my address in India ?

If your consulate is chennai, you will post your P3 to St.Lewis, and after verifications it will be sent out to NVC and finally NVC will send your case to chennai consultate which will send you P4.
