Owned a company 1 year before applying N400

My wife owned a LLC (registered),consulting/Recruiting company in 1998 till dec 2009. She wasn't able to hire anybody and nor did she worked through that company. Do we need to mention that under Employment?
 
we probably need more info..

was LLC some how related to your GC case ? Did your wife sponsor you for GC ?

Was LLC a US registered company which operated in US ?

I think a better question to ask would be 'What is the issue with listing it as an employer'.

Usually such questions come up when the applicant feels that they may have done something that will negatively impact their application. In that case please lay your cards out on the table so people can advise you properly.

If it looks like a questionable case (like your wife did business through the LLC while on a non-immigrant visa without filing the correct paperwork (with then then INS) and didn't declare any income from it and omitted it from her GC application) the people on this board will advise you to seek the services of a competent immigration lawyer.
