i overstayed my visa for almost 2 years now, have a GC holder boyfriend who wants to marry me and file for me but people said i still cannot do AOS because he is only GC and i have to wait until he is citizen which is 3 years from now. is this true? what do i do?

what happens if GC files for me now? are they going to deport me?

please help and thank you much.

Yes, that's true. Overstay is forgiven to the immediate family members of U.S. citizens only. You should wait until he becomes a citizen, if you don't want any problems.
