overstayed after asylum failed

Hi everyone,
Hope to find my answers here...
I came to us when I was 18 years old from Kazakhstan and applied for political asylum. On Interiew I didnt pass because there was not enough evidence, on court judge said I was too young and I had no money to continue case.

Its been almost 5 years since my last date of court and I am still in US. I am getting married to USC but can that help me with my immigration status? Some of my friends say that I cant apply for anything after I didnt show up to court for 10 years, others say I cant apply anymore at all. I recentely spoke with lawyer and she told me that it would be no problem to apply for change of status.

I desperately need help.

Your attorney is correct , sometime people just talk , but they need to shut there hole when they don't have anything good to say , you will be married to a US Citizen what is the problem with applying for AOS ?
