overseas trip

Hey gentlemen!

I am waiting for GC approval. My RD is Dec.
Approval will be made very soon.
But because of urgent business, I plan to make overseas trip soon. Is it OK to to return to USA after GC approval?

For your information, I have valid L1 VISA.

I need infomrmation on your experiance.

No experience but

this is what I learned from this board.

In case your 485 is approved while abroad, your L1 / H1 visa gets invalidated. You cannot use L1 to enter the country but should use Advance Parole.

If you do not have Advance Parole, you need to apply for the same immediately. You can also approach your local BCIS office for emergency AP.

More experienced on this board can offer better suggestion.
