Overseas life after US citizenship

Here's a list of some US offices/departments:

- Social Security Admin.
- IRS
- USCIS
- Places where you have financial or other investments
- Credit cards

I am curious to know if any US citizen living overseas has received correspondence from any of the above offices. Do IRS, SSA, banks etc. send you letters/statements etc. if you are living outside of US, say in Nepal?

Please do share any experiences.

Thanks.

I have similar question. How do people handle overseas address with banks, IRS, etc? Do they give some forwarding address in U.S or give overseas address?

I rent a private mailbox in US and request them to forward mails to my overseas address every other month. So far everything seems ok since I mostly do not expect urgent mails (I moved September 2007).

Also, changing address within US is a lot easier when deal with these organizations like government and banks.

I have the same questions. I am also planning to move permanently to India and I have no one in USA to provide forwarding address, so what is the alternative. How expensive is the Private mailbox in US and the cost to forwarding the mail to my address in India.
