I came to know from an enquiry to CIS that my case has gone for overseas investigation. My name check is clear, gone for 2nd AP, FP and EAD.Is someone in the same boat ?
In what situation do they send case for overseas investigation ?
At what stage/time after I485 is filed, do they send to overseas ?
How long does it take to complete this investigation?
Is there a way to expedite this process ?
Can we contact CIA directly in country of citizenship to get some status ?
I140/I485 concurrent filing RD 8/03.
2nd FP in Feb 2005.
