My wife's petition got rejected and the reason cited was incorrect fee. I had put in a check for $1050 (not $1010). They sent back all the forms 485,130,765,131 with each of the form with their separate fee on a I797C notice ("The check amount is incorrect. The correct filing fee is $305/$340/$335 ...")
My question is that if I was to send in all the forms again , this time sending in a correct check of $1010 (instead of $1050) will that do the trick? Or do I need to make separate checks for all the forms separately (which will amount to 1010+305+340+355). Have already searched through for references on the fee structure on the board but have come up empty. Any information will be great.
