Hello, I would greatly appreciate any advice on my current problem.
I am a U.S. citizen that has been living/working in Korea for the past 10 years with the intent to move back to the States in 2-3 years. I recently filed a petition to sponsor my wife and stepchild (18 years old) for green cards, but the consular officer denied my petition due to my inability to establish domicile. I do not have a permanent residence, but have a bank account and investments in the U.S.
I've researched ways to overcome this domicile issue (vote in state elections, etc), but short of resigning from my job in Korea can anyone offer any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!!
