Outof Status Help needed

Hello,

I would appreciate an early answer, if anybody could help me with this.

I am on H1, when my company closed down the site. Now its about 3 weeks now since that happened. I could transfer to H4 as my wife works. Is this going to create any kind of problems for my future H1 transfer (if received
  within a reasonable 60 days period)??

I am also in process of getting a new employer who would sponspor H1 and also get me working. But may take 1-2 weeks more.
  Whats the best way to go for me?
  H1 -> H4 -> H1 or
  H1 -> (maybe some more time (45days)) -> H1
  Please suggest!!

You should have transferred to H4 immediately when your company close down. I would suggest you do so right now. Once you get the new H1, there is a possibility that you may need to leave the country and re-enter US wih your new H1b again.
