Gurus, I have applied for I-485 ..have got my EAD and AP .. Need to travel now .. In 1999, While in H-1 status with company A I got laid off. I was paid for month and half. I got an offer from company B before the last working day. July 15th was my last day with Comp A. I got my new H-1 from Comp B on Aug 30th. I started working for Comp B from Oct 10th
The question is was I out of status for the time that I was not paid or do they consider as bench time..
I am getting scared ..
