hi folks
If our I-94 has expired, and we are in the country,BUT have a valid EAD and AP,does that mean we are "OUT OF STATUS"
(my I-94 will expire next month, but was valid at the time of I-485 application.
I have a valid EAD and AP.As long as I am in the country, does this mean I am in status,or if not, what do I have to do??
My lawyer has not got back to me for 2 weeks now,and hence I thot I'd ask u guys
any reply appreciated
thanks folks
cheers

I'm in the same situation.
You are not out of status because once you have an EAD you are not on H1B status anymore.
Just make sure that the HR department of your company has been informed that you are working on a valid EAD, not H1B.

Hope that helps.
