Hi, A little story before my H1b question: I have an asylum case pending and a I 130 pending as well.
I filled for temporary work permit based on the asylum process and it was denied, no idea why not even my lawyer knows why, in the print out that I received on USCIS said something about: IBS1 NO SYSTEM IDENTIFIED DEROGATORY INFO and just 8 days after USCIS received the petition it was denied, which is really strange since this petition has a longer processing time. Any way I'm out of status now and I was offered a job in a Higher education institution, specifically to teach in a Master's degree program. for what I have read I don't need to be worry about the H1B quota but my status is what worries me. Any comments will be very much appreciatted.
