I keep reading about being out of status. What exactly is out of status.
My wife entered US on her H1. She started working only after 8 months because of personal reasons. So, her starting date of employment is after 8 months of arrival, and has been working since then without any interruptions. Since then, she has traveled abroad and returned to US. She has filed her tax returns regularly. Is she considered as being out of status?
Applying for the green card; I am the primary applicant. We will be filing adjustment of status in Nov'02 and intend to travel abroad in Jan'03. We have valid H1s (but she has to get her visa revalidated) Will she have any problems in revalidating the visa and entering US again?
