Out of state Employment Change after GC

All,

Got my GC about 6 months ago, and now I'm looking for new employment. I'm in Los Angeles, but I'd like to make a change, and challenge myself a bit, and find a new job somewhere else outside California (not sure where yet, I'm open).

Posted my resume on a bunch of job sites, and I'm getting calls from local companies/recruiters only. Does anyone have any tips or ideas about how best to go applying for tech jobs in other states? Admittedly my being non local is obviously a limiting factor for a lot of employers.

Not a problem just change your address to another state and you'll get calls to that state, not many tech companies agree to long distance relocation these days.
