out for 7 months

I have had US green card for 25 years now, and I am out for 7 months. Will there be any problems at POE? I am enrolled in a school here, so I was finishing it up here.

There may be, depending upon the particular inspector. In general, green card holders are allowed to leave the USA for up to 1 year, provided that they have every intent of maintaining their permanent residence in the USA. Try to gather as much documentation as possible of your ties to the USA, and explain that you were just abroad temporarily to finish up some studies.

Heh, it's kinda funny that you ask this after having already been abroad for so long. :)
