Our mood upon seeing dates retrogressing in October

I am sorry to say, but based on the report from the DOS, it seems that we may well expect cut-off dates for EB3 World and EB3 India to actually go backwards or continue stuck for a long time in 2001 (which essentially yields the same result as going backwards) on October 2006. It is a career nightmare.

For those of us getting I-485 RFE's, I am wondering what would be outcome of changing jobs after submitting the paperwork for RFE's. Let's say my company does not revoke or notify USCIS about my departure from original sponsor. I am wondering what would be the likelyhood of going thru the AC21 process then without much problems. Anyone here has been through that scenario ?

Whats absurd is the question as to why cant the immigration agencies take a stock of the applications and give a fair idea as to where it stands and how acute the problem is ? This would enable people to plan their careers and life rather than just keep waiting in the hope of some better news.

One should know at the start of the process itself as to how much the expected wait time is so that one can make a decision whether to apply or not in the first place.

My life would have been different had I known of this retrogression four years ago. I would have decided to return home or look for a better opportunity much earlier.
