Our FBI NNCP Experience
First of all thanks to Rahul Kumar for sharing all the info in the "My name check experience thread". I agree the system is slow but works if you have patience & persistence.
Finally i got my name check done on May 3rd & got an email from FBI on May 4 05. This was after we did FOIPA, sent emails, certified letters (Cannon/Hooton) and also initiated congressional enquiry. Sanitised FBI email is below. Hopefully we will get our GC approval soon.
Dear Mr. XXXX,
I am responding to your e-mail dated May 2, 2005 and your letter dated April 21, 2005, requesting status for an FBI Name Check.
A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database concerning Sanjay XXXX revealed a request was received from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on May 19, 2004 and it was completed on May 3, 2005. The results were forwarded to the USCIS Headquarters in Washington DC.
A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database concerning Ritu XXXX revealed a request was received from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on May 19, 2004 and it was completed on July 23, 2004. The results were forwarded to the USCIS Headquarters in Washington DC.
