Hello guys I Have filled out the N-400 for a few family members in the past few weeks and my own in January. The question I have for you is this:
In the N-400 a section asks you to list any other names you have been known to use. I did not put any alternative names. In my documents my last name is my fathers last name and my mothers maiden name together, as is done in my country of origin.
That is how most of my legal documents are. However in school, bills etc. My last name is only my fathers last name, as things are usually done in the United States.
So I ask you should I have put that my last name is at times only my fathers last name and at sometimes it is my fathers last name along with my mothers maiden name?
All of my family have this issue.
Should I send corrections or can this be corrected at the interview?
I just don't want them to interpret this as me lying to them and denying me due to bad character.
The reason I didnt think to put that as an alternative name is becuase I thought They meant and entirely different name...
how should I proceed? I would appreciate any guidence on this issue.
