OT : Transferring H1 while an amendment is pending

Gurus,

I have a valid H1 with current employer till 2009. My employer has filed an amendment as the starting date had some issue.

I am planning to move to a new employer. Is it ok to move to new employer when my current H1 has a pending amendment ?
