OT : Incorrect dates on H1 approval

Guys,

I got my H1 extension approved but realized that it has incorrect dates. My lawyer has faxed a letter requesting the correction. Does anyone know how long USCIS may take to send me the new(duplicate) approval with revised dates ?

I had the same experience two years ago, my lawyer, at that time, told me that it will take from two weeks to a possible year. eventually after many email exchanges I finally got it after two months, but that couldbe due to some rare circumstances, because in the meantime I had gotten an offer from another ocmpany who also filed my H1B and both compan H1Bs came at the same time. So maybe the correction got triggered because of the new H1B, although I did not join the new company. So I don't know what to say, keep your hopes up.
