Original Marriage Certificate or copy is enough?

Hello Friends,
I am getting my docs ready to apply N400. I would like to know if I have to submit my original marriage certificate (that was issued in India) or a copy is good enough?

If I have to submit the original, will USCIS return it back?

Copies is all they want. If needed at interview you can provide them with the original. I even think to remember that in the N-400 instructions state to NOT send originals of documents.

Do you think they will accept a photocopies of our checks too? They should get the real check after we get our IL.... (JK)
