Original Indian Passport with Renunciation form?

Hi vcpat,
When you apply for the Renunciation, they will need your original PP because that is the object of importance for this application. Without that, they won't be able to verify anything and have nothing to "Stamp" as cancelled. If you don't send the original PP, all they will end up doing is return your application as incomplete (missing original Indian PP).
When you apply for OCI, you can send copies of this cancelled PP and when everything is processed, you should send the original US PP separately for stamping.
Your signature/timelines do not reflect your N-400 completion..... If your N-400 is not done yet, you should check the embassy site when you do your OCI/SC paperwork as things might be different at that time...
