EAD and AP's orignal are lost in the mail, What should I do to get the new one's....,I have the online message says its been approved....Please help !

If it's more than two weeks after approval, inform USCIS that you have not received your AP/card and request them to re-issue the documents.

Thanks for the reply !

If it is more than one month then ??

How long does it takes to get the new cards, In the meanwhile can we work?? without EAD card..

No, you cannot work unless you have the card with with you.

If it's more than one month after approval, you should inform USCIS asap.

If you changed your address and EAD/AP applications have old address, probably letters are returned back to USCIS. USCIS letters don't get forwarded. In that case you need to inform them your news address.

Try App Center

Hi tagore,

Try going to your local USCIS office and tell them or show them you approval reciepts (if you have for EAD/AP) tell tehm your situation and get a interim EAD/AP

Thatr might help. GOOD LUCK !

Normally local USCIS offices do not issue interim EAD/AP if the main EAD/AP was already approved/issued. This this case, from the case status it's clear that it is approved (you don't know whether it is lost in mail or USCIS had a goof up to issue the documents). Either way, I am not sure whether they will issue interims. I guess they will ask you to contact service center and request for re-issueance of main EAD/AP.

However, if three months is over for EAD application, still you can go to local USCIS office and request for interim EAD. Do not reveal them that you already saw the case status online. Pretend that you know nothing. If they check the case status and tell you the status (what you know already), ask them how this thing can be resolved or just request for an interim.
