Lawyer didn\'t file EAD with I-485. I was laid off a month ago. So there are two options for me to apply for the EAD:
1) Go to the INS Boston office - Faster, but I\'m afraid of being asked about the employer. Do you guys know if they usually ask this question? When is the best time to go(e.g.Mon, Wed,or Fri; early, mid, or late morning), I mean, they would probably be too busy to ask the question?
2)Mail the application to VSC - Slower, but do you think this will be safer for me because they are supposed to issue the card without asking anything? How long does it usually take for the EAD processing?
