I've been reading your threads and learning alot about this OPT. I am currently on OPT but apparently my University failed to mentioned a few things to me. One of which being that if you are without employment for 90 days, you pretty much void your OPT authorization. Now I'm a bit worried. I was without work while on OPT for 4-5 months, but I ended up getting a job that I have been with for the past 5 months. My OPT is coming to end and I have applied to go back to school to do my Masters but I am afraid I may ben denied another student visa because I was never informed of the 90 day period.
Any insights/suggestions/comments about my situation?! I also have a Green Card application that has been pending since August 2005. Please give me a little guidance. Much appreciated!!!!
