OPT visa to tourist visa

Hi,
I have OPT visa which will expire end of August.
I was wondering if there was any way to get that converted into tourist visa?
If not how can I get a tourist visa while in this country (USA).
Reason is I will be free after August from work and I want to travel.

Certain non-immigrants who are maintaining status and wish to change to another status if:

• You have lawfully entered into the U.S. with a nonimmigrant visa
• Your nonimmigrant visa status remains valid
• You have not committed any crime that would make you ineligible
