I just registered in these forums as one of my friend told that you guys are really helpful.
My OPT expired on Aug 2nd week and my H1-B, under general quota, has been approved starting from Oct 1st, 2006. I have not defended my thesis yet, my H1 is on my Bachelors. I am still within the grace period of 2 months. I have mexican visa stamping appointment on Oct 26th. Can anyone suggest me if it is OK if I go to Mexico as I was out of status for one and half month, and I haven't defended my Masters thesis yet. I am also planning to go to India on December.
Please suggest me if I am in a bad situation.
