OPT to H1

Hi All,

My OPT expires in last week of July and my employer says that he has received my H1 receipt notice from USCIS. He also told me that " Under new rules since I have my H1 receipt notice I will not fall out of status when my OPT expires in July last week".

Is receipt notice sufficient to help me maintain my status ?

as far as I know, your employer is correct.
