Hello, I have a friend whose OPT will expire in about 2 months, but they have applied for H1 through the employer, what are the processing time for H1 response and incase H1 is denied what choice does my friend have ? thanks.
If it is a premium processing ....should hear in 15 days....
if denied you are still in status until your opt expires + 60 days OR I-94 which ever is early. If it is denied...try getting back to some school ASAP before you are out of status and continue on F1
