Hi,
My husband's OPT is Valid till June 2006. He has got a job where the company in not willing to sponsor his visa immediately but will have the processing started in March 2006.
We have been informed that the 20,000 visas designed exclusively fir students graduating for US universities might be merged with the 65,000 visas of the regular quote, in 2006.
Our issue is that since the start date for these visas in only oct 2006, we will be out of status after the 2 month grace period we will have from 1st july to 30th Aug. So from 1st september to 1st October 2006, we'll be out of status.
Could someone please assist on how we should go work around this problem.
