OPT to H1 ( RFE filed, Denied)

Dear Friends,

I am currently on OPT (until November), did my bachelors in US not masters.

So I applied for my H1-B with an LCA for New Jersey (my employers location) and got an RFE for it. I work for an IT company and had to provide them with my client details and project info.
I did the needful and provided them with documents and a new LCA which indicated my clients location ( Connecticut ).

They denied my H1 and stated a reason that my LCAs did not match.

Should I appeal or file a completely new petition.

Which route is more effective?

I would greatly appreciate any help and suggestion with this.

Thank you all in advance!

K

You may not do anything. You must have an employer. Since the employer (hopefully not you) supplied the improper documents, he should be discussing the problems with his attorney.

True, I do have an employer. But they submitted the papers that the attorney had asked for.
Do you guys think the appeal process stands a chance? or should I apply afresh.

Thanks,
K
