Hi,
I am having problems with my OPT. I applied for my OPT and due to which my school shortened my I-20 date to Aug 13 which I was not informed about. And another wierd thing that has happened is that I have been given two case numbers for my OPT by INS, no idea why?
And now one of the cases has been denied and the other one has been approved. I got a call from International Students Office saying my OPT has been denied because they sent the check late. So it their fault that they sent the check late and now I am supposed to leave in 60 days the country. So since my visa(I20) has also expired and I am not on status I dont know what to do.
If anybody has come across such a situation or can advise me on what to do now, I would really appreciate.
I am so confused....None of this is my mistake.
