My Status:- My present company A has filed for my H1B and I recently got a receipt from immigration. I'm getting a good offer from another company B and they are ready to file for my H1B too. I graduated in dec 2005 and my OPT is still valid till January 2006.
Q. I have heard I can have mutliple H1B while I have valid OPT for that period. How far is it correct?
Q. Does receiving a receipt from immigration means I got an H1B approval?
Q. Can I switch to another company, means B and just not worry about my present company A H1B filing?
Q. My present company A filed for my H1 on june 23 2005, and the start date of my H1B is 1st october 2005. So approval date of H1B lies in between these two dates or it is 1st october 2005 only.
Please help me I need to make a decision urgently.
