I am confused kindly give me suggestions. I have completed my bachelors in finance and back home also i did commerce. Recently I joined consulting firm and got training for Business Analyst job. My concern is will my H1 be a problem as my field of study is entirely diff from profession and also Iam 23 so work exp to support my case will be strong enough? Secondly my Opt expires on June14,06 and grace period on Aug 14,06 so there is gap between Aug 15 till Oct 1,06 will I be under status I mean can I stay in USA or I have to leave?

Shikha,
I would suggest there might be a problem as your study field is totally different than you gonna work on. But in some way if you can show INS that your job required ur BS degree and experience you have then it shouldnt be problem.
I would suggest consult your lawyer before you do anything.
About grace period Im not sure bt i think u can stay as long as your INS has recieved your application.
Still consult your lawyer.

Yes Iam also looking for some universities which can issue me I20 without need of GMAT so that incase H1 doesnt work I have I20. If you know any such univ kindly let me know. Thanks

I am not sure which state you're looking for universities. But i would suggent get admission as a bachelor's if you dont find one. I am in FL and i hv taken gmat 2 yrs ago.
