OPT+ Grace Period

Hi,

Current Status:
Valid F1 till 2011
Valid OPT till Jan 5 2009
Grace period:- 60 days after OPT expires.

Question: Can i apply for H4 visa during the 60 days grace period while staying in US.
Also i don't think there is any issue if you apply for H4 visa from outside US during the grace period.

You cannot apply for a visa from within the US but you can apply for change of status
Also i don't think there is any issue if you apply for H4 visa from outside US during the grace period.
No issues at all, once you are out of US there is no meaning to grace period
