OPT expires before Oct 1 2005

Hi
My OPT expires in sept 2005 . My company is filing for my H1 in April 2005. I still have the 60 days after my opt. My question is, can I stay and get change of status (without working) in those 60 days or will they force me for counselor processing? :confused:
