OPT Application

Hi,

Greetings.

What is the timefram to apply for OPT after completing the studies? Our ISA is claiming it can only be done BEFORE completing coursework. Immigration.com FAQ indicates that it can be done up to 30 days AFTER the course completion. Can some one please clarify if the 30 days application window is still open. A career is riding on this option, so please provide accurate response.

Definitely....before you *Graduate*, the commencement date. USCIS should recieved the application before commencement of semester at your school.
