I am a Doctoral student who completed his program at the end of Fall Term. Since I do not have a job in hand, I was advised by the International Students Office to apply for OPT late. Due to misinformation and confusion, I ended up applying for OPT on my 59th day of the 60 day grace period.
I panicked and sent my application by FedEx Overnight and got the delivery receipt today at 7am (60th day). My question is, how much trouble am I in?? What are the chances that my OPT gets denied?? Should I save the FedEx receipt??
