Opinions on my qualification in NIW

Hi All,

Your opinions on my qualification of NIW application are greatly appreciated. Here is my info:

1. Major: Medicinal Chemistry
2. 5th year Ph.D. student
3. Very famous advisor in the field
4. 7 papers were published(first author for 6 papers); 2 papers in preparation; 1 US patent to be submitted very soon in this month; 2 national meeting conference abstracts; 2 invited seminars
5. 3 fellowships including 1 big pharmaceutical company's predoctoral fellowship

I will try my best to arrange strong and enough number of recommendation letters from 3 faculty committee members and other scientists from big pharmaceuticals and prestigeous cancer research center.

I'm not a big fan of applying while still a student, but it has been done. I don't see a problem with national interest but I do see one (potentially) with establishing your credentials as one of the best in your field.

Well NIW needs to be
1.Nations interest 2. Intrinsic merit 3. Why labor need to skip 4. & why you are selective 1-2% ...from information you provided doesnot give complete picture of al these.....but decide yourself
