I tried to open a Service Request by calling the 800 number and then 1-2-6.
However, was told cannot open a service request since 60 days have not passed since the last action on the application (I had FP Code 3 done on May 12, 2007). Told me I have to wait 60 days before they can open a Service Request. Not sure how true it is... Also asked me when 140 was filed and seemed to think that PD was the date when I-140 was filed. Clarified that the PD i.e.labor was filed on Sep 2001 and also mentioned in 140 but said they don't go by the labor date. Howcome immi. ppl are unaware of the rules? Anyway, was a polite guy unlike some rude reps I have encountered on the calls who just want to hang up at the earliest. I asked him whether Security Clearance was completed, said he cannot access that information. Also told me that TSC is processing cases with FPs done in Sep 2006 and to come to May 2007 will take time which is totally incorrect based on the approvals on the forum... So don't know what to believe now...
