Open question: Interviews/Transfers/RFEs AFTER FP2s?

From my cursory glance across the forums, it seems like case transfers/interview requests/RFEs seem to happen after FP1, but before FP2. What are people's experiences here post FP2? Have you had any of the above after doing FP2, and after results received by USCIS?

I got my RFE and my case got transferred after my 2nd FP..
 
Friends,
I recently got my I-485 file transferred to CSC from TSC. On May 21, INS issued a RFE on my case[I am yet to receive it!]. I did my first FP on Mar 25,2003 and per online status, INS received it on Apr 16, 2003. And I haven't got the second FP notice. I am wondering when my first FP expires. Also, is it mandatory to get the second FP to get adjudicated?
