Open closed immigration case

Hi,

I sponsered my married brother. He got call from consulate quite a few years ago. As it was not possible for him to come to usa at the time, he was sending them letter every year to extend it every time consualate sent him letter. He did not receive letter from consulate for 2 years and did not send them letter. After two years when he called to check as he wanted to come , they told him his case is closed and I need to restart the process. Id there a way where immigration office will reopen the closed case

There is no need to restart this thread already, didn't you already received response from your initial thread? This should be a lesson to all, whenever you deal with US immigration, working on their own schedule, NOT your OWN, should be the first priority.
