I work for an employer in NJ. Applied for Labor in oct 2003. But I don’t think there is any hope for next 2-3 years to get it approved, unless a miracle happens.

I wanted to convince my employer to open up an office in Vermont, as you know Labor is current there.

Does any body has any experience doing that?
What is the cheapest method to open a company with least expenditure? And how much?
Does my employer has to file Vermont taxes also after office is opened?
Does Mail-Box-Etcetera address works?
Any complexities?

Is it worth doing or I am just spinning my wheels for vain. Please suggest.

satellite office and virtual office may be scrutinized severely shortly soon. dont believe in current processing times which will be fluctuating.

Does any body has any experience doing that? why are you concerned. its your employer problem.

not your job to worry about.

Does my employer has to file Vermont taxes also after office is opened?
yes, depending on profit and vermont state laws for foreign corporation

Does Mail-Box-Etcetera address works?
expect labor denial

Any complexities?
dont complicate your own life.

not worth the pain you will face in the future.

people file multiple petitions of all kinds for fast benefit or as a backup. if people start filing labor in multiple states then dont blame the dol for their processing time.
