Oops -- work/school info

I was just reviewing my application since there has been a change since I filed it in May (I left my job, so there is an end date involved) and I noticed that I may have made an error on Section 5B.

This is the section that asks for where you've worked for the past 5 years or went to school. I listed both my employers - that's perfectly fine.

However, late last year, I took a 3 month sabbatical and went to school. I was on my company's rolls and getting paid, but I did go to school.

Should I list it?

Am I going to get into mucho trouble for not listing it? The thought just never crossed my mind since I was employed the whole time.

Thanks for your input.

Everything will be fine! When the IO goes through the form, you can correct the omission. If he doesn't ask, I personally would see no need to bring it up as it really has little bearing on the case.

Thanks, Boatbod.

When they ask me if anything has changed, I need to tell them I have left my last employer (and I will have the relevant page of the form updated to hand to her).

Should I ask them "Btw, do I have to declare schools I went to *while* employed? If yes, here's the info"? or should I not even bring up the school attendance?

I wouldn't bother bringing it up. From what I can tell, the main reason they ask employment info is firstly to check that an employment-based GC was legally obtained, and secondly for supporting data on residency. Attending school as part of employment seems like it would be part of regular training or personal development. Your call, but I don't think its a big issue.
