Gurus!
I recently got two email updates for me and my wife's 485 cases we filed to TSC. Mine is approved. though wife's case got transferred to San Francisco for interview. Here's the background: I am the primary applicant, we filed our application to TSC since I used to work for an employer in Florida. My wife lived in bay area since then, and I changed job with AC21 rule recently and moved to the bay area as well. Yes, I did manage a long distance relationship for a while and it wasn't fun... anyway I am very concerned about my wife’s case, I guess my quesiton is
1. Should I expect a paper notice regarding my wife’s case or it will go to the lawyer’s office. Another thing is they work for my previous employer, should I ask them to forward everything to me?
2. is the appointment letter, phone call, go to the laywer’s or our home?
3. what the interview is all about? Her case is just a derivative case, if mine is approved, why does she need an interview? And anyway I can find out?
4. what’s time frame I should be looking at for the interview. I checked online the SF office 485 current process time is 12/03. But I don’t know if that’s the right time I should use. I mean her case is a transferred one…
5. Anything I can do is to avoid the interview?
Thanks!!
