online tracking

my attorney filed for PERM. i was asking for case number so
i can track it online. he said only attorney's account can track it.

is this true for PERM/I-140/I-485, can i demand to have
the case number and attorney's log in to USCIS?

i know some of here who were able to track their status online.

The LC and I-140 are for the employer only. So it's up-to the employer to disclose the above details to the employee.
