Does the online status change after my case has been transferred to a local service center?

Details of my case:

LC - approved 12/02
1st EAD - May, 2003
I-140 approved - January, 2004
I-485 - transferred to Newark SC 7/6/04
*working with same employer
* No schedule for fingerprinting yet

N400 Online Status

can we check the case status of N400 application online after receiving the application number (a number that look like this ECR*224......)

I tried to check but it didnt work

can any one know when it will work? is it after finger prints?
