I am very doubtful about the online system getting updated. My Rd is Feb 22,2002 and ND is March 22,2002. However I did not get a finger printing notice for nearly 9 months .Finally when I got the notice, I checked the online status and It hadn't changed. I got my FP done on Nov 23,2002 in Philly and waited to see the status change to something like " On Blal Blah date, the results of your Finger prints were received and the processing on thsi case has resumed" . Nothing remotely like that happened and so I called FBI , they told me that they have sent the FP results on Dec 05,2002. I then called up VSC and I spoke with an IIO .She confirmed that they have received the results on Dec 11,2002. When I asked her why the online has not chnaged , she said dont worry , bottom line your FP results are in your file...Till date the status has not been updated online or on the phone system.
For the positive thinkers this could mean that your approval may be in snail mail and has not shown up online ( May never show up)....
