Online status not showing right Priority date

Folks,

I just found that online status shows my prioority date off by 10 days. The dates on receipt notice and USCIS site is not matching. What do I do now? Will this create any problem?

This is normal practice with online updating and file checking e.t.c , each time your file is touched and viewed the date will change, up until the case disappears from the online status , which might indicate that your IL is on the way.

I am referring to Priority date, not "Last updated" shown when you check the status.

But my receipt notice has a priority date of April 20 2006.

Is this a problem?

You are welcome, Mine has the dates offset by 3 days too, I would not worry about it too much, this dates could mean anything as far as USCIS is concerned, as long as you have your Notice date that should be fine.

There is one thing you need to follow periodically and that is, the last updated date on the portfolio. Once it disappears, then good news.

Mine was off by 2 days. I had my interview last week. I don't think it's a problem. You rely on the one that's on your receipt.

Yes, mine was off as well; I think it listed the date the check cleared, not the date the application was received (1/17/06). It does not matter, do not worry about it.

The best you can do is to stop worrying about it. This mismatch would not do a jack to your case. Take it easy and your case will be processed normally.
